Hey guys.

I own S3 8L that makes about 250hp with slight mods.
Recently my DMF died, so I did what everyone told me not to do - ordered SMF kit from eBay.
Clutch came about 6MM smaller than stock one, pressure plate was modded to make it fit, which also didn't exactly build thrust in me.

Long story short, clutch died in 2 days as it was slipping. I don't have big budget so I only see two options:
1) Get a ceramic clutch and replace the clutch from eBay kit. Though smaller than stock, ceramic material should hold the power, however I'm worried about the pressure plate. It might lack clamping force.
2) Restore my old DLF flywheel and go stock.

What do you guys think?

Stock will be fine for that sort of power output.

Yeah, it will hold however adding ceramic to the other mix would be easier and a bit better (since that flywheel is lighter)

I went LUK clutch & flywheel im running around 260, no complaints here. It bites well, keep an eye out for euro car part offers.
