Trox screw spinning freely so unable to remove grille :(

hi guys, typical. last trox screw to come off and the ****** thing just spins without loosening off. its the top left one just under the bonnet. it looks like its rusted to the thread, so the whole thing is spinning.

iv tried taking the headlight out to maybe get some grips on it but no, you need the bumper off to remove the headlight :sob:

anyone had this?
 
Sounds to me like you might have to chop the bolt and just pull it out
 
nip the head off it with a grinder, had to do mine although in my case it was the middle one which spun!
 
Put something really thin underneath screw if you can get it up high a tiny bit. Like one of those watch battery screwdrivers, while pushing up try and unscrew it...
 
Thanks for the tips boys. I went hardcore on it and borrowed a grinder from work .

I'll have to drill and tap out a new thread, but at least it's on .

I'll take some pictures tomorrow.
