Not posted in a while; new baby and job has had an effect on my internet usage!!
Fitted an Alpine iPod adapter to my RNSE about a year or so ago; it worked for about a week then wouldn't connect correctly - oh well, it was clunkier than a clunky thing so didn't really miss it.
Anyway; at the time I also did the SDS hack and updated my SW from 100 (?) to 660. Pretty sure I remember accessing the RNSE with my VCDS to allow the dvd update - changed the setting allowing upgrade/downgrade iirc??
This evening I decided to add AUX-in - installed the pins (6/21/22) in the 32pin connector and routed the cable through the the armrest and thought 'job done' just coding.......
My VCDS wont access the Navigation (ch. 37) or Radio (ch.56)?! Am I scuppered or does anyone know a way around the coding? Would dealer diagnostics work or have I inadvertently caused an issue with the SW660 upgrade?
