Getting Spray Paint Out of Upholstry and Carpet

Hi Guys

After halloween, i discovered that one of my friends has gotten 2 big blobs of black spray paint on my interior, i have let it dry but i dont know the best way or products to get it off! I dont want to mark or fade the carpet areas or the upholstry>

Any suggestions

I would try soaking with hot water 1st, then use a microfibre and give it a little scrub, or just an interior upholstery foam spray to loosen the paint...
