I've managed to get some small blobs of gloss paint on my seat at the weekend - anyone know how I can get it off without damaging the cloth?

someone suggested white spirit but won't that bleach the seats?

any help would be appreciated

Argh! Not good. White spirit works on washable fabrics, but as you say, can lead to bleaching in some cases... and getting rid of the smell is a whole new problem. A neat all purpose cleaner and a soft toothbrush may help to loosen some of the blobs/marks - I used this approach when I got some on a pair of jeans I liked, and it worked well, albeit with a little elbow grease. After the stain removal stage, a thorough wipe down with a damp cloth is required. I would try a gentle approach with an all purpose cleaner first, then move onto the white spirit as a last resort; white vinegar gets rid of white spirit smells, and normal detergents get rid of white vinegar smells, just in case you end up needing to know. :)
