Stupid question maybe?

Is the a4 b5 the equivilent to my a3 8l? Just wondering so that I know if i can for example take engine parts or front bumper ect from a b5 and install it on my 8l.

You can use the bare cylinder head from an A4 1.8t but pretty much everything else doesn't fit... if you are looking for a parts car buy an A3
