Trouble finding specific grill

Im having trouble finding a grill to fit my 05 non sline sportback. I love the look of the black edition grill but all the ones i find are for 08 - 12 or are debadged.

I have thought about plasti dipping the grill but I've never been happy with the finish or the fact the guys at the carwash always managed to power wash it off.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

Only the 08 onwards had a black grille, that.s why you can't find an oe version. It'll have to be a non oe ebay special, wrapped or paint it your self.

Damn it, well back to the drawing board I guess. I'd probably have to resort to painting it as wrapping doesnt look practicle?

Hi, I think you can still buy genuine Black Edition (style) grilles from Audi to fit an 05 plate car (is your car post facelift?).
I got one from my local Audi dealer for my 56 plate S-line a couple of years ago. (See picture below) which replaced the standard chrome version.
