Revo Stage 1

1+ is smaller supercharger pulley & tune (called stage 2 by most tuners)

Stage 2 normally refers to removal of the standard catalytic converter and replacing with Sport or de-cat, then adding suitable software.
On the 3.0TFSi Stage 2 isn't very common practice (although we do offer on request subject to ECU I.D) as the catalytic converter is built into the headers and realistically an engine out job, also the aftermarket de-cat headers have been known for cracking/failing.
The gains from Stage 1+ with the Revo pulley and Revo 1+ software are incredible, so more than enough for most and whilst maintaining emissions which don't create issues when MOT time come round.

If already at Stage 1, Stage 1+ is...
£110 + VAT for the pulley kit - http://www.revotechnik.com/product-details/engine-hardware/30t-fsi-supercharger-pulley-upgrade-kit
Around 3 hours labour time for the fitment of the pulley kit, speak to local dealer for labour cost - http://www.revotechnik.com/dealer-locator
£50 + VAT for Revo 1+ Software - http://www.revotechnik.com/product-details/software/audi/s4/146/stage-1-plus/
£199 + VAT for Revo S-Tronic Software - http://www.revotechnik.com/product-details/software/audi/s4/146/s-tronic-stage-1/

Options -
We would also advise the Revo Charge cooler to keep temps down and make the engine even more efficient - http://www.revotechnik.com/product-details/cooling/charge-cooler-30-v6-tfsi
Revo Zircotec full Intake kit - http://www.revotechnik.com/product-details/air-filter-intake-kits/audi-s4-s5-30-tfsi-air-intake-kit
Revo/Alcon Big Brakes to stop the thing, now you're in true super-car territory - http://www.revotechnik.com/product-details/brakes/audi-a4-a5-s4-s5-q5-big-brake-kit-mono-6
Non Revo items I'd advise would include Bilstein PSS10's and ARB's.

Speak to your local Revo dealer for full details - http://www.revotechnik.com/dealer-locator

Good price for those at stage 1 to go stage 2 bit of a no brainer. How is Revo getting on cracking the later ECU's? Is this likely to ever happen.

Yes, Stage 1+ is a no brainer, although as said Stage 2 isn't really worthwhile.

We have a large list of projects, the latest Simos ECU is on there & will get done, but will be completely new tuning and to put into prospective we spent around 18 months on the original 3.0TFSi tuning.

The 1+ is amazing isn't it :)
Have a heart - take pity on all those of us with cars less than 2.5 years old who can't get any tune, let alone the 1+. Just pretend to be a bit less excited will you?
:blownose:

So do I take it that the clock has not yet started ticking into those 18 months?

Sorry to muscle in. But I have the A6 with the detuned S4 engine, and this is the only forum where I can get decent information on tunning.
I have 290 bhp , so imagine the jump in performance I will get on the stage 1 +.
On the remap. When the S-tronic is left in Drive, is that stock tune. And the remap only kicks in when in Sport. Or is it across both drives.

Brad.

Hi Steve.
A few miles outside of Hull. I think it's Auto Tecnica that sells your products.
The car's booked in at Hull Audi Friday morning to have the PCV valve and software update ,as I'm using a litre of oil every 400 miles.
As soon as I know everything thing is running as it should, I will be getting it booked in.

Yes you have Andy at Autotechnica in Hull, a great guy & Audi Specialist with many years of experience - http://autotechnica.co.uk/, he'll look after you, give him a shout. However, make sure the car is healthy either via Audi or getting Andy to check it first.

Steve, what is a rough cost for going from a stock to stage 1+ for a 8.5 with dsg. Thanks

Scroll up a couple of comments and the details are there, however best to speak to a local Revo dealer as you'll need a quote for the labour time.
You can go straight to 1+ or do stage by stage if you'd like to spread the cost, in fact many Revo dealers offer finance now too. Where are you located?

I am in Belfast

Steve are revo dealers doing any black Friday deals

Popped in to my local Revo dealer today for a chat and price for a remap.
Now I know the prices quoted above may not include vat, but stage 1 + and the S tonic remap was quoted at over £1500.
Am I missing something.

A friend of mine got a stage 1 with dsg for 900 all in

Sounds expensive? I have just been quoted £675 for oil inspection, dsg oil change and Stage 1+ (power pulley upgrade) @ Quattro tech in St Ives. Stage 1+ was only £325. Currently running stage 1 with dsg map and just fitted revo air intake, I can now here the supercharger when under load, not too intrusive :-D. Very tempted to get stage 1+ done this week!

To touch on your point on when it's active. It's always active but the car remains as drivable as it is now. You lose none of the normal behaviour, when you tell it to go faster it will. It's a sleeping monster until you poke it with a stick, then you will understand what the car is capable of.
It's something you never get used to, you get a little nervous giggle everytime.

years ago a car for the track was terrible on the road, and a car for the road was terrible on the track. That is no longer true, shopping, school run, track, nothing is beyond the car. Takes it all in its stride and excels.

Here's hoping that I get a chance to experience that myself one day...

IMO the Nissan GT-R is great for track but not so great on the road. Maybe not terrible on the road but certainly bad.

Hi Laurent, these guys are Hardware dealers in France - http://dynaparts.fr/87_revo-technik
or any of the other dealers on the Revo dealer locator can assist you - http://www.revotechnik.com/dealer-locator. The Revo FMIC isn't a released product yet as we haven't had enough stock to go live and sell out as soon as they're back it stock. This should hopefully change by early next year when we add an additional production facility.

Cool will do

If you're stock then it's -
Stage 1+ £749 + VAT
S-Tronic software (optional but highly advised) £199 + VAT (£299 if not done with engine software)
Pulley kit/belt £110 + VAT
Total for above is - £1058 + VAT = £1269.60 inc, then you'll have the labour time to take into account at around 2-3 hours.

When you weigh up the fact you'll get back a car on another level, then it's very good value as anyone on here with Revo Stage 1+ will tell you and many already have said above.
Weigh it up against how much an Exhaust system for a 3.0TFSi would cost and what you'd get from it in terms of performance gains...

Get it done & enjoy it :)

Exactly how much more would a slower B8 rs4 cost. It's a bargain!

Just ask them. I don't think the software for 1+ is much anyway. How you liking your stage 1. Wish I'd done my s4 but I changed my car. The additional torque is apparently mental. Like 450flbs. That's mega. I'd go pulley upgrade for sure. Gotta be missing out.

I purchased the S4 with the stage 1 map and Dsg so can't really compare to stock unless I use my sps and change the map, safe to say I haven't had the urge to turn it down! Car is seriously quick though and has so much torque. I added the Revo cai and the whine from the supercharger is addictive. I was at Quattro-Tech yesterday and they will sort out stage 1+ with software and power pulley for approx £340 fitted. Still undecided as car is quick at stage 1 and I need new discs.

Lucky man. I had the roc euro and it whined like a MF. Loved it. Have you had yours dynod? £340 seems a good deal to up the power. Does yours Revo to 7k too? I wish I'd tuned mine. My old man wants his doing but no one has cracked the ecu yet for the simos16. (Hint tuners) great car the S4. People get caught up in headline numbers but the s4 just makes power everywhere and I love that. Proper sleeper. I drove my dad's a bit ago after my Revo s6 and although mine is a total monster I love the throttle input in the SC'd motors. That never gets old. And blower whine.
