2009 Sline Avant Rear Door issue

Hi all,

Having problem with my rear passenger side door.

Basically, it opens 100% everytime from the inside. However, after being locked and unlocked it will fail to open from the outside initially.

Once the door has been opened and closed from the inside handle - the outside handle will work fine again.

Not sure what to think?

Anyone any suggestions?

If you do a search you'll find lots of similar issues. It'll be the lock mechanism needs replacing

I have exactly the same issue but the drivers side, I'm going to strip it when I get a bit more time but think it may have corrosion on the board will post my findings

Same problem here with the rear door - it's the door actuator which fails. I'm going to take mine out and give it a clean.
If not, it's about £100 to replace.

I've got the same problem on mine are there any guides on how to fix this ?
