Well today was collection day. Not too bad a wait from my initial order date at the beginning of January. The spec I ordered can be seen in my signature ....
The car was actually available last Friday for collection, but the soonest I could manage was today Boy was it worth the wait though.
I bought from Perth Audi, cant recommend them high enough. Constantly updating and answer immediately any e-mails, including two videos sent over on arrival. There service today was also of highest quality.
The day started with a phone call from the dealership, confirming that everything was ready and offering to pick me up at the local train station! A nice touch I thought, although I had already arranged a lift through.
On arrival I was looked after by every member of staff and made to feel more than welcome. Luckily, I arrived on cake day The cake went lovely with a cup of tea and glass of non alcoholic fizzy.
Signed all the documents that were required then sat down and was shown through all the handbooks, advised about the warranty/breakdown and the keys handed over with two Audi key rings.
Then was the fun part Smiling from ear to ear the car was unveiled and I checked it all over and all the settings were explained for a good 30 mins. Dynamic was the first question I had to set
My collection photos are on my camera which I have left in the car, so have left them off just now. I took many more on my phone when home though.
Freebie wise .... I got a £30 meal voucher, my two key rings and some fancy puddle lights. The car was gleaming, I was VERY worried about swirls but I had nothing to worry about. Couldn't see a single swirl and that was confirmed tonight under the petrol station lights. A few minor Holograms but easily enough sorted when I set loose with the waxes.
Overall I would highly recommend Perth Audi.
Have done around 100 miles today just aimlessly driving around. Sounds amazing and drives so so well. Gave a wee blast as well with the window down I don't think the novelty will wear off for a long long time.
