Not sure if its just me, but I find it annoying that if its rained and I have some water beading on my roof, when I open a door the seats get a good dousing of water?
As the car has been detailed with a ceramic coating, there is always good beading which I think makes this more prevalent?

I am sure that over time this will stain the leather if I don't wipe off straight away...

you are not alone, several others have posted similar comments might even been a thread or two if you search...solutions include....

1. Sell the car
2. Dry the roof with a drying towel before you open the door
3. Don't clean or detail the car to minimise the beading
4. Move to a desert.
5. Put covers on your seats or replace them with cloth alternatives
6. Find something else to worry about.

You could always "blow" the beads away from the door before you open? Then when you drive off they will all be gone anyway :p

buy a tent for it

...on a serious note, I've had it happen too.

Isn't that just another benefit of having roof rails!.

I've got a sportback with roof rails and get this. Usually only a couple of drops on the front doors, but the rear doors are far worse, quite a bit of water ends up on the back seat when opening those doors.

I thought it was just me.
