General concensus between car people is to avoid them and they get blown about scratching the paint car would need to be perfectly clean to avoid even worse damage.
I'd have said build a car port or if not practicle.

Best I'd suggest is a proper detail and ceramic type coating applied help protect and make it much easier to clean bud
