i currently have the standard 4 spoke steering wheel, I have purchased a multifunctional one which is also 4 spoke so the airbag is the same, so no messing around with that. Only question is would I need a new control module in order for the MFSW to work along with Cruise Control. Or can I just straight swap it & get the buttons coded from a garage?

I have a correct loom for sale for the facelift a3 4 spoke mfsw.

Is your car a manual or Automatic?
you will also need a replacement airbag loom so that the buttons work.
Where are you based?

Manual 5 speed. And where could I get a loom, I'm based up north in Sheffield.

I also want to do this? Is there a how to guide?

I have a 2007 A3 with paddle shift. Can i buy a replacement steering wheel with stereo controls and an additional loom to connect to the stereo or is there more to it?
