Got my pedal today.
Yes it is slightly slimmer than the DSG footrest, but biggest damnation is the original DSG footrest has a plastic section that covers the carpet.
Leaving you with a hole! But overall it's fine. I will cut some carpet from another car to cover up the bald patch.View attachment 99542

.... bit of laser cut stainless and a couple of countersunk self tappers should do it.

Basically I used an old black mat from another car and cut it so the whipped edges cover the line from the plastic and used some 3M velcro pads on the pad to secure.
It you can only tell when you stick your head down there.
