Hi guys looking for abit of help with regards to recently blowing my turbo.

The car is a 1.9tdi 115bhp that's been mapped.

Replaced the turbo, intercooler, n75 valve due to oil filling everything up.

Turbo spools perfectly fine and the car drives however it is very sluggish as if there isn't a turbo attached to the car, then at around 2.5k revs it suddenly takes off kicking out a whole load of black smoke.

Before the turbo broke it was boosting before 2.5k but since everything has been replaced it really takes its time to get going. The only thing I can think could be restricting it is a clogged up cat?
Can anyone shed any ideas if this could be the case or not?
Many thanks in advance

Most likely The actuator on the turbo is not adjusted properly- which makes for slow response as the exhaust gases bypass the turbine instead of spinning it. I would check the actuator holds vacuum and moves properly up and down without bind on or jerking...

I had the same issue with a blocked/ collapsed cat
