Hi

I have noticed that I've got squeaking coming from my front right wheel when turning the wheel left and right.
It happens when I'm stationary and when driving slowly.

This is a video of it...

I think or I hope it is just a bush or something and not steering rack.

Anyone got any ideas?

It sounds like the bearings in the top mount have worn.

I have just got new top mounts, lowering springs and alloys. So can't images it is...well I hope it's not!

It's got to be something related to what work you have just had done, so probably not the rack.
It could be a top mount as I fitted a duff one to a ST that was new.
It's most likely something not tightened after the suspension work you've had done.

It's metal on metal making that noise. Have a second person turn the steering wheel and you get under the car, you should see and hear what's going on there, also look for bright metal on the suspension parts where they are rubbing on each other. Check that all the nuts and bolts are tightened up from when you had the new parts fitted. I wouldn't drive the car until the problem is solved.

Thanks for the replies. I will have a look at it today and let you lot know
