congrats on the new purchase. Mine was the SB Sport and done a few upgrades to sline. Just a warning with the front bumper when you do it, the existing fogs and housing will not fit. You will need to purchase an Sline front fog and fog housing. If you end up doing the rear wing and side skirts I would be interesting to know how you get along because these are exterior the last bits for me to do I think.

Struggling to get a Sline front bumper so I ended up just buying a splitter for my SE bumper

Post some pictures on that front splitter when you install it :)

You'll spent quite a bit if you decide to go for the digital climate control from the SE. Am interested in the exhaust tip you brought ?

Where from ?

Realised that :frown new:, ebay mate £34 delivered

Anyone know how hard it would be to get a sport 8v to look like an sline on the exterior if it already has xenons, and LED rear lights, would it just be bumpers and spoiler?

front and rear bumpers are easily available on ebay but depends on location item and condition.
it will be a straight swap.
the rear spoiler is something i did myself and it was hard to take off the OEM standard spoiler.

I have yet to do the side skirts as they are harder to come by.

Oh okay thanks, I'm not too worried about the spoiler and skirts if i'm honest, I've had a bit of a search for some bumpers but monsoon grey ones seem hard to come by. How difficult are they to fit? I've never really done any work on the exterior so I wouldn't really know what I was doing.

I had a VW specialist to do the work for me, as the bumpers needed spray painting. People on the forum have taken the front and rear bumper off so you can hunt for those users and ask them but they were not taken off by myself.

If you end up getting an Sline front bumper, you will need to change your fog lights and fog grill too.

Ah, I wasn't aware about the fogs, I'd likely get the work done by a specialist, did you provide the all the parts or is it just a case of getting hold of the bumpers and letting the specialist source the fogs?

the fogs was doable by myself, it just pops out and put the new ones in.

Car looks great. Do you know if the Sline radiator grille is a direct fit on the SE bumper. I was going to paint the Sline grille black and fit it onto the SE bumper, and keep the original grille so that i can return it to standard if I decide to sell the car in the future or if the paint start to chipped of the painted one.
