Hello, What it the body control module linked to? I`ve just had a new wiper motor fitted as that became intermittent and failed. Changed the bonnet latches as the micro switches were failing and now I have a few other issues.

One being :

When I used to work in automotive (admittedly quite a while ago) I was in powertrain, so this isn't my area, and I'm sure someone like @DJAlix will give you a better answer. That said, to me it looks like either a CAN disconnection somewhere, or power to an ECU is down. Given that a high quiescent current has been measured, maybe there has been/is a short somewhere that's taken out a fuse?

Thank you, I will go and check all the fuses. I was wondering if this is located on the steering column could it have been damaged when I had the cruise control system fitted?

Nope.... its part of a scan which looks like it might have been taken while the ignition was off, if not then you have some big issues!

Please open VCDS and from the main screen select Auto-Scan. Once the new screen pop's up please select Start and let the process complete. Once done save the scan to your desktop, open and then copy / paste here.
