im looking for some nice, bluish bulbs, I've spoken to Trups but he doesn't have any of the ones I'm looking for but I want the DRL, dipped headlights and main headlight bulbs to match.

Can anyone help with finding some bulbs please?

And if you have any pictures of blueish bulbs in action that would be good!

I have a 61 plate S Line 3dr, halogen bulbs

Thanks

These are the most contemporary looking, subtle blue/white (halogen filament technology) bulbs I have found. They are road legal and don’t look like the ridiculous, blue “Christmas tree lights” that some youngsters fit in their hot hatches.

But be warned – they do not light up the road any better than the OEM bulbs. I have Osram Cool Blue in the full beam lights – not as blue/white but stronger for night driving.

If, like me, you have the unusual PS 19W DRL/sidelight your car, the only alternative option is to convert to a LED bulb. I have these in my car and they look very nice and modern. Cree LEDs are supposed to be the best.

These are a great contemporary improvement as the sidelight in particular in the standard PS 19W bulb glowed pathetically like an extinguished candle wick – much worse than a standard 501 5W sidelight bulb.

If so you're not allowed anything above 4300K as it's considered as emergency services or so...

The Ultra 5000K must be a bit of marketing as they have gained an E mark from Luxembourg.

Thanks for your help mate!

So if I got the LED bulbs for the DRL and sidleights, because it's an LED bulb would it just plug straight in and work or would I have to do other stuff?

Do you have any photos of yours? Really want to make sure I get the right ones
