Chrome door handle trim removal?

I have the exterior door handle chrome caps which I really don't like, does anybody know how to remove them and can you just swap them out with black items? Thanks, Simon.

This was brought up in another thread and the conclusion was that they chrome strips weren't removable I believe. The handles are one part on the parts database.

I think the best bet is to get the chrome strips wrapped black or buy new handles, but the latter will be a costly option I'd imagine.

Yep as @Daggerit said, different handle so can't remove trim unless you order new handles! Wrapping is a good shout!
