Slam Panel Painting...

Morning!

I'll be installing my front grill this weekend, however I'm still unsure about going about spraying my slam panel. With my car being silver i don't want that showing behind the new gloss black grill. Im going to be doing it myself in the garage and i just want to ask whats the process people have used to do this?

I was just going to clean the surface, primer it and do a few coats of black etc

How have you guys done it?

Either paint it as you've described above, or wrap it with some vinyl. I find mine being painted has picked up a lot of stone chips so i'll be wrapping it when I sort it out over the next few weeks

I vinyl wrapped mine satin black, no waiting times to dry and doesnt chip 3 years on. nice and easy to do
