Essentially the sump from another VAG car (Beetle or something IIRC) with an adaptor to use the 1.8t oil drain and a different pickup... personally I'd put the money towards a baffeled sump...
on different wavelength , What i am seeing is a metal / steel formed guard , that mounts , under the engine bay , dished shell , as big as a old bin lid
Too low and weights 11+Kg; no good for a rally car
the shallow sump does shave about 50mm iirc of the bottom of the engine
does take it the sump of the chinning zone egine raiser blocks can also be used (25mm lift)
fwiw vag factory built rally pq34 cars raised the engine; used a shallow dry sump; added extra subframe under the engine
