ok so im doing a new topic as for some reason you cant edit any part of the original topic on this forum
Ok so ive heard and read about the horror stories when the cam follower or camshaft does a nasty on the engine.
so my question is that as i dont like to simply replace parts with equal weak ones and rather spend a little bit more for better quality,
I have now just read that going with cams from an s3 is a good idea. if so does anybody know the reference codes and a link to where i can get them from as google isnt throwing me much
also im guessing an experienced mechanic could do the replacement in about 6 hours and around 16 hours if they dont do it that often.
