Evening All, today I switching my ESP off - a warning "Stabilisation programme off" came up on the DIS and the yellow light lit up. I received the ECL light too.

Reading my manual, briefly pressing the button switches off the ESP & ASR - I don't need to hold for 3 seconds but when I did it just resets (activates) ESP

If I do press and hold the "sliding car" logo in the dashboard turns on but after 5-10 seconds, the "sliding car" logo turns off - I think this is whats causing the error.

I'm not sure if it's a faulty switch or an ABS issue. I did have Hill-Hold and TPMS coded in back in February, not sure of this could have done something?

I've done a VCDS scan and posted the error below - can anyone help me trouble shoot the issue or should I get it booked into Audi?

I'm experiencing the same thing but I only activated hill hold I couldn't do tpms. I also had the same error flag up on vcds. Hoping someone can answer this

I have hill hold from factory and sometimes i get the error on vcds. Everything works fine as far as i can tell but i got recently recall message from audi for esp/abs. Should book it in to see if it makes any difference...

I think it was a specific module that they found issues with. If your car is not part of recall then you're fine. No need to worry.

The swapped my ABS unit as part of this and all is well so far

i did contact Audi Aberdeen when i first say the recall post a while back as i have an 2009 S3 and there answer was if your car is on the list for the recall they will be in touch with you so far no mail or call grom them so looks like mine is A ok .

Was at my local center today for another problem but did ask them to take a look at esp fault. They said it's fine, it's only flagging up the fault code because your long pressing it and it's assuming the buttons jammed. Didn't really bother going into it left it at that.
