Well mine certainly don't work then, they didn't even clear for my 30 minute journey when i last tried to work how they worked. What position does the switch need to be in to heat the mirrors?
Might wanna give that interior plastic a wipe?In this position (see photo)
For mine to work I’m sure I put on rear de mist then wing mirror switch to rear position. Rear has to be on.As title, i don't seem to be able to get my heated mirrors to work no matter what i do with the switch. Is this a common problem, done a search and cant seem to find anything related to the face lift S3.

Hmmm maybe it was coincidence at the time then. Mine is MY17 alsoThat is not the case on my 2017 S3 and I am pretty sure for all years back to 2015.
Just move rotary switch to heated mirrors position...rear window switch is just that only.

Deffo shouldn't need rear screen on, think I've only used the rear screen once since March but have used the mirrors plenty of times.
The tilt is for the ejector seat, be careful with that one.Guys, thanks for all your help but I need to apologise to you all. My stupid oversight, I didn't realise the switch spun round so the white dot faces the heated mirror symbol!!! As the switch rocks backwards and forwards I thought to operate the heating system I only had to rock the knob (on the car not me) backwards, all working fine now, thanks again.

I called Lloyds helpdesk as WiFi wasn’t working on my laptop, turns out I hadn’t flicked the switch to the correct position....At least you hadn’t booked it into the dealer, that could have been embarrassing when they told you
