S/S downpipe tininess

I fitted the scorpion de-cat yesterday and found the sound to be quite tinny, once the carbon builds up a little will this reduce?

I paid just under 2k for the scorpion de-cat, Forge FMIC, Apr stage 2 high torque map and fitting. Not 100% sure on the price brake down.
Goes well now though
