Driving along in the A6 with an empty trailer when all of a sudden what sounded like a line blowing off or a seal blowing somewhere, the car then dumps a load of oil and smoke, loses power and the turbo starts sounding awful.
Anyway got it towed home, checked the turbo briefly for play and all seems good, take off the wastegate vac line and the car runs fine, assuming this is a problem with turbo lubrication or something? My initial thought was blown a turbo but it looks to be in ok shape.
Any help appreciated!
