Gearbox / drivetrain noise

Morning,

I'm looking for some help to diagnose a noise on the drivetrain of my 6mt S4.

Driving along day before yesterday in 4th gearbox and planted. Car went fine but then suddenly slipped then was fine again.

After driving another 20 odd miles around town it developed an odd noise at low speed.

Only had a clutch 10 months ago / 3k miles ago so wouldn't think it's that but who knows.

I took a couple of vids of it at idle having an odd thud / knock noise intermittently and driving it another strange noise.





Anyone able to listen to vids and think they might know what it is please.

Should have mentioned it's the KMR gearbox....not sure if that matters

That is not a good noise, I'd be concerned, maybe even a front diff issue, if not a main 6MT internal issue, good luck!

I'd guess it's a bearing that's gone....something like a throw out bearing or input shaft bearing.
Gears still feel silky smooth weirdly
