Hi all.

I treated myself to an OBD Eleven kit just before Christmas in the hope that I was stay with VAG in coming years and it seems to be a very useful tool.

I wanted to try and look at a constant 'emission control system' warning on the dash.

OBD11 gave me the following codes but google is confusing me (and my knowledge is limited!). Can anybody tell me if there are any simple fixes without the need for complicated/dedicated tools or is this something that needs to go to a mechanic to fix.

Secondary Air Injection System - Incorrect Flow Detected
Fault Code: P0411
Status: Static

Connection Charger - Throttle Valve - Pressure Drop
Fault Code: P1297
Status: Intermittent

Bank1-Sensor1, Heater Circuit - Performance too low
Fault Code: P1103
Status: Static

Bank1-Sensor1, Heater Circuit - Open Circuit
Fault Code: P1106
Status: Static

Are there any common faults to look for first.

Many thanks

Bolly

P1106 isn't on ROSS-TECH

I know a lot of people rave over ODB11 being a non VCDS tool which can also see airbag, abs, awd faults unlike android torque etc

what car is this? an Audi 1.8T 150/180 ? has the SAI been deleted? etc

I would clear the faults and run again, but it looks like an O2 sensor being an issue.

Year/Model of car + mods would help...

Secondary Air Injection System - Incorrect Flow Detected
Fault Code: P0411

Suggests an issue with secondary air system... normally the result of an air leak on the SAI valve or an SAI delete thats not been coded out

Connection Charger - Throttle Valve - Pressure Drop
Fault Code: P1297
Status: Intermittent

If you have not done an N249 bypass then this is potentially a split DV... or split pipes... ECU has tried to use the N249 to dump boost and not seen the pressure drop quickly enough so assumes its an issue with the DV

If you have done the N249 bypass then this will occasionally pop up but could also be an indication of a sticky DV (aftermarket ones in particular)

Bank1-Sensor1, Heater Circuit - Performance too low
Fault Code: P1103
Status: Static

Faulty pre cat lamda

Bank1-Sensor1, Heater Circuit - Open CircuitFault Code: P1106 Status: Static

Faulty pre cat lambda... potentially explains the P1103

For future reference... most P codes are listed here
