Best way to "Black Pack"

I'm sure loads of people have ditched the chrome and I'd like to do the same if it's relatively easy. I have seen some black roof rails on ebay but I'm wondering if it's easier/cheaper just to get them wrapped. Do the window surrounds come off easily if I can find replacements or again is it better to wrap them? I'm happy to replace the front grill as I'll probably go for an RS one anyway.

I have recently done this myself.
replaced the grill with black edition and had the window trim and front fogs grills wrapped in vinyl, the guy didn't do the roof rails as he said it wouldn't work very well due to the shape of the rails so I have sprayed with plastidip (shouldn't get any stone chips up there)
I have been looking to replace with black roof rails but it is a pain in the **** as you have to remove the interior roof lining.

I was kind of hoping you could access the bolts by just pulling the head lining down a bit.
