Advanced key,door switch

Hi guys,ever since ive had the car the touch door switchs have never worked,i know its a bit of a common fault,i know its been discussed before but i cant find the link,
How hard are they to change and were other than audi can i get them

Not sure if this is right but have you checked if they have been coded 'off' with VCDS. I believe on the B9 model they can be switched off in the MMI.
Is it all of them or just the drivers?
