P0121 ? Throttle Body?

EML came on and a quick scan came up with P0121 and it looks like its the throttle body, I guess full of carbon, can I just take it off and clean?

Be careful, use EGR/turbo cleaner spray to clean it but do not open the plate by hand. Otherwise you must calibrate throttle body via VCDS.
