Drumming noise on take off

Hi All

2016 A3 quattro FL 150tdi - I have been noticing a a short drumming sound when pulling away in 1st gear going round a corner ie a small roundabout. It sounds like it's coming from the rear.

Any ideas?

It's not a metalic drumming noise. More like a dull rubbery drumming noise. Hard to explain. Only does it (or I only notice it) picking away on a corner and only for a second.

Could be anti roll bar link broken.
Check your boot for loose objects like a golf ball.

Just an update on this. Sorry should have updated it a while ago.

One of the dealers (sure they work with spurs on) blamed it on the brakes and said I needed to get new disks and pads at my cost before they would investigate further (was still under warranty).

Went to another dealer who diagnosed within a few minutes a possible choked haldex pump gauze. They changed the haldex oil and cleaned the gauze on the pump under warranty. It fixed the issue and it's been ok since.

Incidentally, it had only done around 13,000 since the last haldex oil change and gauze clean.
