Hello
After 4 months owning my RS3 decided it was time to try LC
Hmmm never again
The car sounded just as I seen on YouTube great note from exhausts!!
Took foot of brake the car suddenly locked up
Not sure if it was gearbox or brakes!
Put it in reverse wheels still locked up
Back into drive car drives fine!!
Any ideas what the hell happened

Locked up as in didn’t go anywhere ?

Sounds like you have an issue somewhere.
It launches like a scolded cat if done correctly.

Mine was also like a scalded cat every time without fail! Not once did it do as the OP describes.

Sounds like something is wrong software/hardware wise. Can't help with what it is, but when done properly the car will launch and push you right back in to your seat.

ESC off, stop start off, in sport then buried brake and accelerator.

Cheaper than getting garage to diagnose any faults you might have.
