Car not reaching running temp? :(

Hi guys I have a similar problem. I haven’t tried anything at all yet but I did get a fault code on VCDS of the ‘High pressure sensor’ . Ignore the top fault, that’s been sorted. But my car temp doesn’t go above 60-70 and I have exactly the same car. 04 plate 1.9 tdi 130 avant AVF.

Replaced my main thermostat yesterday all sorted temps back upto 90 degrees

Yeah that's what it'll be, when they go they stick open so the hot water goes straight into the radiator. In this situation diesels are to efficient to get very hot, so it won't get up to temp in this weather.

Seriously, are you looking to destroy your motor ? Do you not think Audi Tested your car's performance in -20 degrees before they put them out for sale in 2001 ?

Thermostat....Replace it
