Took out the 233 bulbs from my reading lights the other day and put back in some 433 20w halogen bulbs. Really bright! Just hoping they are not going to melt the plastic lense! Just have to wait and see i spose!

Have you left them on for a while and felt the plastic to see how hot it gets? Maybe will save you buying some more plastic if they do melt it!
If they dont warm up you should be ok as the interior light wont be on that much for a long period of time.

I'd be more worried about the cable supplying that light getting too hot!
Is the cable capable of supplying the extra load? We don't want any fires.
