A6 avant change of alloys?!?

Hi All,

I am a new member and just want peoples opinion! I am thinking of changbig my alloys to new black ones, still 18” but I have always wanted black alloys and want my car look different not standard.

Maybe get them resprayed to black using The Wheel Specialist or similar? That way you get to keep the same size and OEM quality because non OEM wheels vary massively in quality.

Do you think it would suit the car with it having so much chrome everywhere else?

You may be better reposting (or asking admin nicely to move this) to the A6 C7 forum. I think black wheels may not really stand out on a black car, maybe black with a polished rim, or a grey wheel might work?

This is obviously a subjective issue so you should do whatever you prefer, however I will say that I hope you enjoy applying tyre dressing.

I don’t think the chrome is an issue, as those bits become accents on an otherwise all black car. However the tyres will invariably end up looking tired and grey most of the time. Contrasting those with gloss black wheels and paint will somewhat ruin the look.
