245hp engine build thread. Aim 400+ hp

So... got my new engine CDUC and wants to build a 400hp setup for the new engine. After researching some time i figured Bobby and Desertstorm have made the first tests in here so aim is:

BiTdi maf
BiTdi injectors
BiTdi fuelpump
Rs6 Air filter box
Dpf off
2700 bar rail presser valve part number is still to be found
Darkside intercooler
Mac Hybrid turbo

And we should be good to go. Unfortunately Bobby can’t help mapping in the car as the distance it to big so would have to find another solution for software. Shouldn’t be a biggy as I can flash it myself.

So any ideas or pros/cons are more than welcome.

Will update the thread as building takes place.

The BiTDi also has an uprated oil pump to cope with the improved oil spray to the underside of the pistons and an uprated enclosed-impeller water-pump to supply coolant to extra cooling gallery in the cylinder head. The pistons have been re-designed to lower the compression ratio from 16.8:1 to 16.0:1. and special carbon-coated gudgeon pins are used. The extra post-main injection charges are to protect the DPF - but this will not matter if the DPF is to be removed.
So apart from the turbo's it's pretty standard engine.

Darkside did an excellent report on adding a hybrid intercooler to the BiTDi and found that the extra power was not worth the expense.
