Hi,
I have a 2017 AUDI A3 1.4 TFSI with an S-TRONIC gearbox. Since last September it has been making a strange squealing type noise that appears for around 3-4 seconds then goes when pulling away and at lower speeds between gears but this is far less audible. I have tried my best with the Audi dealership but they don’t seem to be able to replicate the sound therefore my warranty is not being utilised. It happens after a long drive, then being left for an hour or so then going back out.

I would be interested to hear if anyone else has heard/ experienced a similar noise? The car has only done 39,000 miles.
