Hi Mike,
I've had my M3P for 5 weeks now and it's a 3 years old pre-owned car with 24000 miles with warranty until end of 2028. I use Octopus Intelligent energy provider and it costs me only 7.5 pence per kWh off peak between 11:30pm to 5:30am. Only need to plug it in and forget. The car will do the rest auomatically. I have charged the car only 3 times at home using this 7kW 32A charger. 1st time was to test the newly installed Hypervolt EV charger and other 2 times were used when 2 weeks off from work and needed to top up when visiting other cities on day road trips. I get about 300 to 305 miles range at 90% battery. I have not charged the car more than that. According to car's history, the previous owner charged only once at Tesla's Supercharge throughout the car's life and cost £11. I've spent total only £13 so far that's including 2x trips from Bournemouth to London (return) and then driving around Hampshire, Sommerset, Dorset and my commutes etc nearly 2000 miles so far done and just cost me £13. I can't ask for more than this. It is like travelling for free whereas my 3.6L 911 and 3.4L Boxster S cost me about £20 to £25 a day just to commute to work and home. Tesla is a very smart car with Dog Mode, Sentry Mode that records surrounding areas of the car when you're away, live tracking on app, Track Mode and you can turn it into 100% RWD car and do burn out and load map of a race cuircuit on screen etc also can auto climate control from phone's app before going into the car, defrost mode, etc. The screen is big and great layout for easy user experience to watch Netflix, play video games, YouTube for learning or meeting for work etc Sound system is excellent and whole glass roof is great. I prefer Tesla's big screen to Taycan's or other's which seem much smaller and narrower when viewing. Someone i know has a Taycan and he had to take it to the dealership and leave it there for a day just to get software updated whereas in Tesla it is done over the air when you're sleeping. If you have issue with the car, service can be book via the mobile app and their technicians will come to your work or home and carry out the repair. Even when it is on wet road, you can put foot down it just grips and goes. It is a good car. I'd recommend.
