Got a bit of an issue when I try and use the passenger side dipping wing mirror by turning the mirror adjustment control with the car in reverse. Instead of adjusting correctly the glass now just randomly vibrates and doesn't lower as it should. Using the mirror adjustment joystick moves the glass as it should, so doesn't seem to be a problem with the mechanism. Anyone else had this?

That's weird as it's the same signal, mechanism.
Ok try 1st moving the mirror downward manually via the switch a little just to get it moving, then put into reverse, see if it then moves ok, if so, then it maybe sticking momentarily & thus vibrates, hence needs either lube or new motor.
