Hi , 2013 A6 Bitdi, mostly short trips , just over 47000 miles done. After a trip down to Perthshire and back, the following day the coil light started flashing.

I plugged in my Carly and the following codes came up P22D500 - turbocharger turbine inlet valve position sensor circuit range/ performance and P22D200 turbocharger turbine inlet valve stuck open.

The car drove perfectly , good mpg and no hesitation overtaking on the trip.

Local garage haven't seen it yet but after a discussion over the phone , possible actuator but they would recommend changing the turbo as changing the actuator on its own could cause an imbalance?

Anybody had similar issues and if so what was the fix for it.

Many thanks in advance

These suffer with actuator issues, changing the actuator won't cause an imbalance just make sure whoever is doing the work has the correct tools for the job as you can screw it up if you don't know what you're doing.

Hi,thanks for that, the electronic one was replaced under a recall 6 years ago, when you touch it you can hear a little electrical noise/beeping
