A6 4F steering wheel on A3 8p?

Hi, i wanted to retrofit MFSW and Cruise Control on my A3 8P. The car has a midline SW module, so i know that will need changing. I have a good offer for a MF SW from an A6 4F. Are these SW's the same for the A3? Are the connectors different?
