Tracking / wheel alignment means that sensors need recalibrating

I took my car to a garage and they found out that the rear of the car was not in alignment, so they sorted that out -

However, the sensors need to be realigned now.

Has this happened to anyone else?

When I had two tyres changed recently I asked the tyre place to sort my tracking as I think it’s out slightly, however they said no because they can’t realign the sensors. Apparently you need to go to Audi for this, and I was told it was circa £500!!! Now I have not asked audi for a quote yet, but that’s expensive, and it may not be correct, so don’t quote me.
