Hi guys, I have a question about springs for mine A3 8V Sportback 2.0TDI (110KW).
I noticed that my car is higher upfront then it is at back for approx. 2cm. I measured the car's height and it came like this:
1. From the ground:
Front left 66 cm
Front right 66 cm
Rear left 64,7 cm
Rear right 63.3 cm (full fuel tank)
2. From the center of the wheel hub:
Front left 36,3 cm
Front right 36,3 cm
Rear left 34,5 cm
Rear right 34,1 cm (1/2 of fuel tank).
The car has "sport" suspension with multilink at back, height was measured with 16" winter wheels.
Shouldn't it be lower at front and higher at back? I swapped front and rear shocks last year with original Sachs shocks for sport suspension, but the car was like this even before change - I'm not the first owner so I don't know was car's height like this when it was brand new.
I also checked rear springs, they aren't broken. What's the solution to this? Should I change rear springs, maybe they're done?
Thanks in advance!
