Bought some pair of electric power folding mirrors, but I can't seem to find an option to get them folding via driver door switch.
Just wondering if someone can confirm is these mirrors are folding, or has the seller told a porky?

I'm not seeing anything relating to fold in VCDS, but I have the indicators, and heated mirrors working.
Door switch and P door modules installed on each side.

Thanks

If you have 1 pink wire & 1 blue wire, then they are folding, if not then they're not.

If u have P modules and genuine Vcd's if u go into drivers door module and hoover over code u should see a drop down box with a heap off numbers wherebu will see folding mirrors with a number next to it , as this is in all 801P modules .
But as @NHN says the wing mirrors u have may not be able to fold .

Looks like I've been had, as I'm not seeing an option in VCDS regarding folding mirrors. So many scummy sellers on eBay nowadays.

The modules aren't the issue as they're P.
It's just the mirrors are manual fold, not power fold, which the seller lied about. It was missing the pink wire also, that NHN mentioned.

Have u now got it sorted as @NHN is ur man for that kinda stuff .

You have grounds for sending back and getting a refund as significantly not as described.
No matter what the sellers return policy (ie doesn’t accept returns) then a SNAD request means that they have to take them back.

Unfortunately, I don't think I have any grounds, as I had waited a while for it to get fitted (holiday period), which was beyond the 30 day limit. eBay sided with the seller, despite being missold, and off by a few days.

Ur defo correct and thats what i would defo do but seller doesn't have to accept and refund ( old ploy as Ebay then refund , and seller shuts down ebay account and joins with a new one ) . Research is the key plus if u join a site like this gen 1 u learn how to use it.
I firstly recommend using erwin audi and pay the site to get ur Data Sheet , has loads off info and too much to go into but it has a cost , but doesn't everything .
Then if u can't manage urself try the retrofitters on the site as again they will do at a cost ( every1 has to make a living )

My friend, I explained to you in the DM's. I done my research before buying. correct part no's and everything. I had it fitted by a specialist retrofitter, during the holiday period (hence the long wait).

Seller sold using a misleading description, he even confirmed the part no's via Messages before purchasing.
Why do keep repeating the same thing about research?
