blind spot error

hi guys , I am newcomer in your forum!
I have an a6 avant bitdi competition facelift 2016 and I have an error in rear right module with sn 4G0 907 566 M
I have found cheap the same module but from prefacelift model with sn 4G0 907 566 D
will this work?

Prefacelift does not have dynamic (sweeping) rear indicators.

My problem is the module for line assist - blind spot and if the pre facelift module will work. What has to do with dynamic indicators?

Sorry, I miss read your post as “rear light module”
Most electronic modules need to be coded to the car, either by a dealer or an authorised independent who has access to ODIS.
Worth trying, but no guarantee that it will work.
