Rattle from seat undertray

Morning folks!

Got an annoying rattle from the tray that pulls out from under the passenger seat. Anyone else found a good solution to stop the problem? I’m thinking just put something heavy in there, but not ideal. Lol

is it the full size tray or just the short drop-down door one?

To test, put some cardboard between the door & box, shut & see if it stops, then if so add some foam sticky pads between the 2 pieces.

I used a bit of blue tack , it works wonders on squeaks and rattles.

It’s the full size tray. It pulls out and is about and a5 size tray.

I think you’re thinking of the glove box? I’m talking about the tray under the seat

sounds like the ones fitted to my Recaro's, from memory they can be removed and the fittings all tightened up, i had a similar issue.

this is the underside of the draw frame you can see the draw runners, sometimes bits get loose and just rattle .
