Door Lock Issue

Hi, I've got an intermittent issue with the door lock on the wifes cabby, the key fob unlocks the doors and the window drops as it should but the door wont open using the outer handle, if I then use the key to unlock the door, the door opens fine, any ideas?

It's one of 3 things all of which I can repair, the door lock, door module water damaged or the hinge wiring broken.

It takes a bit of work to remove the door card to gain access to get the door open without damaging things.

Whereabouts are you located?

I'm currently doing an A3 cab in Aylesbury for the same issues as it happens for a client.
