I was reading that the v8 was upto 2004 then 2005 went to the v10 Lambo engine, have u got a walk around video of it mate.

This generation of A6 had a 335bhp 4.2-litre V8 sold up until 2006, which was replaced in late 2006 with the 345bhp 4.2 V8 FSI engine that my car has. The 5.2-litre V10 engine was in the S6 sold at the same time (though the previous generation S6 had the older 4.2 V8 engine - I imagine that’s what you were reading about). I don’t have a walk around video, but the pictures give a pretty good impression. It’s in very good condition for a car of its age.
